To keep our community as safe, we are constantly monitoring and implementing health authority guidelines.
Please notify staff when booking an appointment if you have any of COVID-19 symptoms. DO NOT ENTER THE CLINIC IF YOU HAVE ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS.

Masks must be worn by all patients entering the clinic unless they have an exemption card.
Here are some tips to avoid the spread of the virus:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water or use alcohol-based sanitiser (these are available at reception and in each room in clinic)
- Avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth unnecessarily
- Cough or sneeze into your elbow
- Book a phone consultation if feeling unwell to avoid presenting to the clinic
- Use the NZ COVID-19 Tracer app and scan the QR codes on entry at reception
- Get a COVID-19 swab or RAT (Rapid Antigen Test) if you are showing any symptoms
COVID-19 SWAB (a 'covid test')
We offer COVID-19 testing (nasal swab) here at the clinic to those exhibiting COVID-19 symtoms. This includes both our enrolled population and the general public. Please note that tests require an appointment - please call reception on 03 981 81 81 to book a test. DO NOT ENTER THE CLINIC. You will be asked to remain in your car and call reception on arrival to check in. The Nurse/Doctor will give you the swab in your vehicle. Please let reception know if you will be on foot.
Please note that these are only free to those who are symptomatic or have been mandated by the Ministry of Health to get a test as part of the Public Health Response to COVID-19 (eg a day 3 or 7 tests being a confirmed household contact of someone with COVID-19). Otherwise, there will be a charge for a COVID test.
INTERNATIONAL Supervised PRE-TRAVEL COVID-19 rapid antigen test (rat'S)
We provide supervised pre-departure Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT's) for international travel at a cost of $95 per test. These tests require booking an appointment - we are not a walk in clinic. A letter is provided with the result for you to give to your travel provider. Please note that MeNZ Medical do not know the different requirements for each country and the patient will need to provide this information.
PRE-DEPARTURE PCR TESTING FOR TRAVEL
We provide pre-travel PCR tests at a cost of $195 each. These tests require booking an appointment - we are not a walk in clinic. A letter is provided with the result for you to give to your travel provider. Please note that MeNZ Medical do not know the different requirements for each country and the patient will need to provide this information. As we are open Monday to Friday, we are only able to do testing on Monday's, Tuesday's and in some cases Wednesday mornings to ensure you get your test result on time. MeNZ Medical allows at least 48 hours to get test results back and have no control over the speed in which they are processed as they are tested off-site by a 3rd party.
COVID-19 Opening hours
During all alert levels of COVID-19 we will be operating normal opening hours as an essential service.
These hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm - closed weekend and public holidays.
We will be providing all of our different services and appointment types during these times
