WARRANT OF FITNESS (WOF)
A thorough examination with blood tests, for men who are generally healthy but are interested in health maintenance and disease prevention.
The WOF is a full assessment of current health and health history. We take a comprehensive look at your health and anything that may be done to help improve your standard of life in a clinical and holistic manner. A fasting blood test is done prior to the appointment followed by a 30 minute consultation with the Practice Nurse and a 60 minute consultation with the Doctor.
GENERAL PRACTICE
All your General Practice needs can be dealt with at MeNZ Medical. Consultation with a doctor for underlying health issues, routine follow ups from hospital and medical prescriptions. Please note we are closed for enrolments but are still happy to see people on a casual basis.
MOLE REMOVALS
Book an appointment with the Doctor for a Mole check and any suspicious ones can be removed. May require 2 appointments. Dr Williams has 2 years experience working at the Burwood Plastic Surgery Clinic.
HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
Hypertension is the silent and sometimes fatal disease. We will perform a thorough examination of blood pressure with follow-up or treatment as necessary.
CHOLESTEROL
Following a prearranged blood specimen the patient then comes in for a discussion about the results and options for treatment.
SMOKING CESSATION
This physical examination concentrates on the heart and lungs and is followed by counselling and subsidised regimes for quitting.
WEIGHT CONTROL
This consultation will evaluate the severity of overweightness and examine options for control. Ongoing monitoring may be required.
MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING
We are in a good position to counsel on various problems such as stress, addiction, depression, anxiety, phobias and panic attacks.
DIABETES
This disease often goes undetected in the early stages. Our Diabetes check consists of a symptom and family history review with on-the-spot Glucose testing.
ASBESTOS WORKER RESPIRATORY REPORTS
